CLAT is a national-level law entrance exam for admission to 22 national law universities and more than 70 affiliated colleges. The exam is conducted by the (NLUs ) in offline, pen and paper format. Candidates who pass the examination will be eligible for admission to 5-year integrated LLB and LLM programmes
– For the CLAT Exam you need to study 5 subjects; Logical Reasoning, Legal Aptitude, English Language, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. – All 5 subjects are equally important.
After the 10th, make sure to choose the humanities or arts stream if you wish to appear for CLAT as it has similar subjects to that of CLAT and helps in preparation.
The consortium releases the application form for CLAT on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates need to submit their personal information, communication and educational details, preference of NLU, and other factors while registering for CLAT 2024
Clat exam is held in pen paper mode for 2 hours. There are 120 MCQ questions carrying 1 marks each for the correct answer and - 0.25 for the wrong answer. The language of the test is English.
