My favorite out of all these recommendations is ‘Kohhra’ streaming on Netflix. Kohrra follows two cops investigating the murder of an NRI and disappearance of his friend.
I promise you, the mystery of Kohrra will have you twisted. It’s such a well-executed who-dunit, that you won’t be bored for a second. Kohrra is perfect for a weekend binge with just 6 episodes. Go watch it now!
Kalkoot is the other show that left me blown, it centers around the life of a cop who’s going through his own personal crisis and is attempting to solve an acid attack case.
Kalkoot subverts society in a brilliant way. It will teach you a lot of things without sounding preachy and will keep you hooked till the very end. Kalkoot is streaming on Jio cinema and is a must watch with 8 episodes total.
Dahaad is another promising Prime Video release where Sonakshi Sinha is a cop trying to solve the murder of missing girls who’ve fallen prey to a serial killer.
Vijay Varma as the killer freaked me out every second. Dahaad is a fabulous crime thriller that you can’t afford to miss. Dahaad has a total of 8 episodes. This is the kind of thriller that will take you a while to get over with.
Hansal Mehta’s Scoop just blew me away. It’s immaculate in its storytelling, super gripping throughout. From the media, to the mafia, Scoop doesn’t disappoint. Scoop centers around Jagruti Pathak, a journalist who would do anything to get a scoop, until she is the scoop.
Scoop has a total of 6 episodes and is streaming on Netflix. The best part about Scoop is its ending. The last two episodes of the show will make you feel so much, it’s really heart wrenching.
