CTET is a national-level eligibility exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CTET exam is held every year to determine candidates' eligibility for appointment as teachers in Central Government Schools such as KVS, NVS, and others.

Mathematics Syllabus (Papers 1 & 2)
Topics include Number System, Simplification, Percentage, Ratio, Time & Work, Speed Distance, Algebra, Mensuration, Geometry, Average, Profit & Loss and Pedagogy of Mathematics.
Social Studies Syllabus (Paper 2)
Topics include History, Geography, Social and Political Life, Economics and Static GK, UP Related Questions, Social Studies Pedagogy.
The CBSE accepts applications only from those candidates who fulfil the CTET eligibility criteria 2023. The CBSE itself fixes the CTET eligibility criteria for Paper 1 and Paper 2 based on the TET guidelines framed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
