Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the conducting authority for JEE Advanced Counselling 2023 and seat allocation. It is conducted as a centralized counselling procedure for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

– Candidates who have qualified in the JEE Advanced exam must register for JoSSA Counselling on the official website. – Candidates are required to fill in their preferred colleges and courses in order of preference. – Based on the candidate's rank, JoSSA will allocate seats.

Registration & Seat Allotment

Acceptance of Seat

If a candidate is allotted a seat, they must either accept the seat and report to the allotted institute, or opt for a float option, which allows them to participate in further rounds of counselling.

If a candidate opts for a float option, they are eligible to participate in the second round of counselling. In this round, candidates are required to fill in their preferred choices again.

If a candidate is not allotted a seat in the second round, they are eligible to participate in the third round of counselling. In this round, candidates are required to fill in their preferred choices again.
