It is a multidisciplinary field concerned with designing buildings or open areas. Architecture courses also incorporates the selection or designing of decorative pieces, furnishings, restoration or remodelling of existing buildings, and supervision of construction work.
It is deemed to be a university having recognition as an institute of National importance. The college is ranked #5 in NIRF 2023 ranking ffor Architecture. It offers B.Arch., B.Plan at the UG level, M.Arch., M.Plan., M.Des., MBEM at the PG level, and also doctoral programs.
BIT Mesra is a UGC-approved deemed university. The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in the fields of management, engineering, and science. It is ranked 20th in the Architecture category by NIRF 2023.
It offers undergraduate and postgraduate and Ph.D. programs in Architecture. The admission is done on the basis of merit in the common entrance test (CET), Postgraduate entrance test (PGCET), and VRAT test for UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs respectively.
The institute has been ranked 12th in the Architecture category by NIRF ranking 2020, Manipal School of Architecture and Planning offers UG, PG and Certificate programs. Admissions are secured with respect to marks scored by candidates in NATA and entrance examination conducted independently by the school.
