UPSC Mains General Studies Paper IV (GS-IV) is about Ethics, Integrity, and Aptitude. UPSC GS-IV paper is one of the nine papers of Mains Examination of the IAS Exam.
The General Studies Paper IV covers the following main areas: Ethics, Integrity, and Aptitude. This paper tests the candidate’s approach to the issues of integrity and probity while dealing with public life.
Knowing the trend in the UPSC GS 4 paper is crucial for preparing for the UPSC IAS exam. This would highlight which topics are more important than others so that you can dedicate your time and efforts accordingly.
For preparing each topic, start with the NCERTs to build up your knowledge base and then move to standard textbooks for the topic. Read current affairs daily, and practice questions based on the current affairs to strengthen your answer writing skills.
Make short notes on the topic; it will help you revise the topics quickly. Practise and make diagrams relevant to each topic. This is especially important for Geography questions, where students can draw good diagrams.
To be fully prepared for the UPSC Mains GS Paper 4 in 2023, candidates must cover a range of topics like Ethics, Integrity, and Aptitude.
