West Bengal has many big engineering colleges. Students looking for admission to engineering have different options to get into a top engineering college in West Bengal. There are many Govt. and private engineering colleges that give admission on the basis of WBJEE score of a candidate.
WBJEE is a state-level entrance exam held once every year. The Exam has two papers - Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics & Chemistry), with total marks of 100. The time duration is 2 hours per paper.
WBJEE admit cards were released on April 20, 2023. The exam was conducted on April 30, 2023. The results have been declared on the 26th of May. Admissions to various government and engineering colleges are currently in progress.
WBJEE Syllabus
To secure high scores in the first attempt, the students need to be aware of the important topics and their weightage from WBJEE Syllabus 2023. WBJEE Syllabus is quite similar to the syllabus of class 11th and 12th for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and is at par with the syllabus of other engineering exams such as JEE Main, BITSAT, etc.
Make an efficient study plan, you will be able to allocate time for each topic accordingly. Remember when preparing a study plan is to mix up the topics in between to break the monotony. Give yourself enough time for revision and simulation testing. When doing all your studies, remember to allocate some time to relax and engage in extracurricular activities.
Top engineering colleges in West Bengal accepting WBJEE scores are also known for their quality of education and placement record. The seats are allotted on the basis of a student’s performance in WBJEE and counselling conducted for admission. Some colleges are really good at providing good packages to their passing out students.
