National Law Universities or NLUs are the most popular law schools in the country. Currently, there are 26 national law universities in India.
NLSIU Bangalore was the first NLU and is also the best law school of India according to NIRF as of 2023.
NLU Delhi situated in the nation’s capital is ranked 2 by NIRF and is the second best law school of India.
NALSAR is among the first universities to offer the five-year integrated undergraduate law degree, postgraduate law degree and doctorate law degree.
The NUJS, Kolkata, is the only three national law schools which have the honourable Chief Justice of India as the Chancellor. It is an excellent law school.
NLU students are expected to intern from the very first year and have bagged at least 10 internships in their five-year degree.
