Jawaharlal Nehru University is ranked higher than Aligarh Muslim University in the 2022 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings. According to NIRF, JNU is currently ranked the second-best university in India, just behind the Indian Institute of Science.
AMU is probably the cheapest in all over India. the Whole year Fees approx 12000 INR (for two semester).another 2000 INR for the books from Book bank. For JNU, a M.Sc course costs around INR 432 - 5.85 K.
Both universities are reputed for pursuing UG or PG degrees, but JNU is more popular for its post-graduate courses, and AMU is more popular for its undergraduate courses.
While both universities are known for their amazing respective cultures, AMU and its beautiful culture, its tradition and its stunning beauty attract people from all over the world and therefore has a better campus culture than JNU.
AMU has its own entrance exam AMUEE. AMU accepts admission to only eight undergraduate programmes on the basis of CUET scores. JNU conducts entrance exams department-wise.
