Tuition fees for Master's programmes vary greatly. There are programmes with fees between 0-5,000 USD/year, over 1,200 programmes with fees between 5,000-10,000 USD/year, around 5,600 programmes with fees between 10,000-20,000 USD/year, and around 15,400 programmes with fees over 20,000 USD/year.
There are costs other than tuition fee. The broader cost of attendance varies by university. Other expenses include annual expenses, encompassing student fees, housing, food, supplies, health insurance, transportation, and personal expenses.
The Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized test that evaluates the English language proficiency of students who want to study in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, or New Zealand. To take the TOEFL exam, Indian students need to pay $190.
The cost of a master's degree for Indian students in the US ranges from $30,000 to $120,000, approximately INR 24 to 96 lacs.
International students can apply for fully-funded university scholarships in the USA to reduce their expenses. Some states, such as Arkansas, California, Oklahoma, Missouri, Washington, Kentucky, and Tennessee, have tuition-free community programs available.
