National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate (MBBS/BDS/Ayush Courses) every year. As per Government of India, it is a mandated requirement to qualify NEET Exam to study medical courses in India and abroad.
The total number of registered candidates in NEET 2023 were 20,87,462 including 9,02,936 male, 11,84,513 female, and 13 transgender students.
As per NEET 2023 result statistics released by the authority, a total of 20,87,462 candidates registered for the exam this year out if which 20,38,596 candidates appeared in the examination.
From the 20 lakh students who appeared for the examination, about 11,45,976 students qualified for the exam.
No doubt, NEET is a difficult and challenging exam. We are talking about the single-level medical entrance examination of the country with lakhs of students appearing for the exam, and limited seats offered in desired colleges.
