JEE Mains is considered to be one of the toughest entrance examinations in the country, and every year nearly 1 million students appear for this prestigious examination.
JEE (Main) comprises two papers. is conducted for Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) admission B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other(CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments.
JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), meanwhile, JEE Advanced is conducted for admission to IITs.
As per the latest update, the total number of unique candidates appeared in both sessions of JEE Main 2023 are 11,13,325.
The total number of aspirants registered for the NTA JEE Mains 2023 session 2 were 931334, out of which, 883367 appeared for it. Moreover, a total of 8.6 lakh students applied for the IIT JEE 2023 January session exam, out of which, 8.22 lakh candidates appeared for it.
As many as 43 candidates secured a 100 National Testing Agency (NTA) Score in JEE Main 2023 examination in B.E./B.Tech paper one. Last year this number stood at 24 for the same paper.
