A person who was assigned male at birth but identifies as a woman is known as a trans woman. A person who was assigned female at birth but identifies as a man is known as a trans man.
When a woman feels emotionally, romantically and or sexually attracted to another woman, she is described as lesbian. When a man feels emotionally, romantically and/ or sexually attracted to another man, he is described as gay.
When a person is attracted to more than one gender, they are known as bisexual.
