Jawaharlal Nehru University is ranked higher than Delhi University in the 2022 rankings of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). According to NIRF, JNU is currently ranked the second-best university in India, just behind the Indian Institute of Science.
Compared to DU, the fees of JNU is much lower. For example, a JNU M.Sc degree fee costs about 692/year, whereas a DU M.Sc degree fee is between INR 3.8K to 69K/year.
Both universities are reputed for pursuing UG or PG degrees, but JNU is more popular for its post-graduate courses, and DU is more popular for its undergraduate courses.
While both universities are known for their amazing respective cultures, DU has a more cultural and vibrant life with parties and fests as compared to JNU.
While DU conducts CUET for undergraduate courses and DUET for post-graduate courses, JNU conducts entrance exams department-wise.
