BIT Mesra is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Apart from the main campus Mesra, BIT also offers several courses in off-campus modes. BIT’s off-campuses are at Allahabad, Noida, Jaipur, Lalpur, Deoghar, Patna, and Kolkata.
Candidates should qualify the 10+2 examination or equivalent in the relevant subjects from a recognised board. CSAB/JoSAA is also accepted.
Students should have B.E/B.Tech/AMIE/M.C.A or equivalent degree in the relevant disciplines with at least 55% marks in average (50% for the reserved category candidates). GATE scores are also accepted.
Candidates should have B.Sc degree in Biotechnology/Chemical/Biological/ Agricultural/Pharmaceutical or equivalent from a recognised university. The total is around Rs. 3.12 Lakhs - Rs. 3.77 Lakhs.
Students must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. The total fee is around 5.33 Lakh.
Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra offers a total of 79 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. BIT Mesra courses are offered in full-time mode only.
