The SSC JE exam is conducted annually by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit Junior Engineers for Group-B (non-gazetted) posts in level-6 (INR 35,400-1,12,400) of the pay matrix of the seventh Central Pay Commission under various departments of the Government of India.
Candidates should have B.E/B. Tech. Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university to fulfill the SSC JE Educational Qualification requirements.

SSC JE previous year cutoffs for Gen was 123.52838 and candidates available were 860, 115.93457 cutoff for OBC on 1719, 112.28955 for EWS on 824 and 101.70364 for SC on 84.
