The Maharashtra First Year Junior College Admission is also known as the Maharashtra FYJC Admission. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education oversees its administration.
There is no entrance exam or interview to get into a junior college. Admissions are generally based on 10th marks.
On the basis of 10th marks, a merit list is released by the college. On the basis of merit list, students are given admissions.

– Possession of the required documentation, such as transcripts and diplomas – Residency criteria, as some schools give preference to students from the district.
Only Indian citizens who reside in Maharashtra or NRI students who meet certain criteria are eligible for admission to the 11th grade in Maharashtra.
