Students need to prepare well and study hard in order to get admission to the university. Students who secure the required marks will be called to the university to complete the admission process. However, do not take the entrance exam lightly as PUBDET is quite challenging and the simplest of questions can make one think and ponder.
In every subject, all questions in the exam will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four options against each question. There will be 50 questions in each paper with full marks of 100 and the time allotted will be 90 minutes.
In PUBDET exam, for every correct answer marked by an aspirant, he/she will be awarded 2 marks and for every wrong answer marked ½ marks would be deducted from an aspirant’s total score. If an aspirant does not mark any answer for a question, zero marks would be given for such a response. Further, the official website informs, “For any combination of response with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks”.
Know the PUBDET Syllabus
Cover the subjects thoroughly and know the important topics which have to be covered. Segregate the subjects and topics into easy and difficult categories. Cover topics that you find challenging. Note down the topics which carry maximum weightage (based on previous years’ question papers).
Refer to Past Years’ Question Papers
You can understand the weightage of marks, how many long question answers are there, you can understand which section has what type of questions and how many sections carry the maximum amount of marks where you can score well by referring to previous years question papers.
The selected candidates whose names appear on the merit list must appear in the Presidency University 2023 counselling. To complete the document verification process and claim their admissions, they must attend the Presidency University 2023 counselling schedule.
