Labour Landslide In Britain’s Politics

Labour party’s return to Britain ‘s politics after a span of fourteen years is certainly significant with Conservatives wrecking a havoc in every sphere from inflation to party gate scandal for Rishi Sunak calling for snap polls was a gamble that didn’t paid off as for the electorate the departure of Tories from the political landscape of Britain was a great riddance with this party steadily loosing it’s steam.

Smaller parties like Reform UK founded by Nigel Farage substantially ate into the vote base of Conservatives from which the latter couldn’t recover managing a hundred and nineteen seats against Labour (Wigs) four hundred and twelve seats. Keir Starmer who became Britain’s PM is a prominent Labour politician who rose to the ranks of Wigs in 2015 and later burdening the responsibility of rebuilding Labour from the scratch by taking absolute charge of party in his hands.

Before, the run up to these parliamentary elections Wigs won many by polls in constituencies considered as a Conservative bastions. However at the policy and program level don’t expect much changes as on immigration and foreign policy neither Conservative is any different nor a Labour as the latter is going to walk the tight rope. Country first and party second has become rallying slogan of Wigs as with this they have equally made their intent way clear without any doubt come whatsoever.
