From Isolation To Inspiration: The Journey Of Meena

In 2020, there was a lockdown in the whole of India. No one could come anywhere, no one could go anywhere. During this time, all the children were as if imprisoned at home, forgetting their friends, studies, and the world, becoming victims of mobile addiction.

Let’s talk about one such girl, whose name was Meena. She neither used to speak to anyone nor come out anywhere, and she didn’t make any friends. Meena liked to be alone because she spent the whole day on her mobile and TV. Due to the lockdown, even her parents didn’t say anything to her. She was completely weak in studies and didn’t listen to teachers or her parents; she used to quarrel with everyone.

Time passed slowly, and one day Meena’s teacher sent an opportunity in the WhatsApp group. All the children had to write a story or poem and send it. Meena initially ignored the message, but that day she was bored watching her mobile. So, she thought, why not write a poem? She started writing a poem. At first, she had a lot of trouble because she didn’t even know the meaning of poetry, but she tried and wrote a poem and sent it to the head. After some time, Sir replied, saying she wrote very well, so she should keep writing.

From that day, she made her mobile her strength and not her weakness. She started writing poems and stories. Her poems also started getting published in many magazines, and she was very happy to see all this. By 2021, she was more interested in writing, and the time had come to mold all the poems she had written so far into a book. Meena made a list of about 150+ poems and contacted a publication to ask for a book. It also brought her to talk to people, developing communication, listening, and writing skills. After some time, a book was prepared called “Mere Lafzon Ki Duniya.”

By 2022, she had become the writer of her school. She was also interested in acting. When the theater came to her school, she participated, and because of her very good acting, she got the opportunity to act on different platforms. Now she not only acted but also taught others. By 2023, she had become the favorite of all her teachers. She had made many friends, met new people, attended their sessions, attended classes, and fearlessly expressed her thoughts to others. The surprising thing is that she is a returning counselor student; the rest are great writers.

If we talk about Meena of 2020, then she has no existence left. Now a new Meena is seen who is completely opposite to her. A lot of time passed, although there were many challenges in her life, and she faced all those troubles, which gave her more strength. Now her dream was to become a writer, although dreams change many times, but she was determined that she wants to become a writer. She also worked with many publications along with her studies, and her works were published in many magazines.

In 2024, Meena continued to write more and more poems, stories, articles, feedback, movie reviews, and even participated in live book discussions. She actively sought out opportunities to meet with other writers, share experiences, and learn from them. Her journey from being a weak and hidden student to a compassionate and confident one was truly remarkable.

Through her dedication to writing and exploring various literary forms, Meena not only found her voice but also discovered a deep sense of compassion within herself. She used her writing as a tool to connect with others, share her perspectives, and inspire those around her. From once being isolated and lost in the digital world, she emerged as a beacon of creativity and empathy in her community.

Her transformation serves as a testament to the power of perseverance, self-discovery, and the profound impact that writing can have on one’s life. Meena’s story is a reminder that with determination and passion, even the most uncertain paths can lead to extraordinary destinations.
