The Race Of 90%

As a current student preparing to tackle board examinations, I’m keenly aware of the immense pressure and expectations that come with it. The experience of being caught in the 90% rat race is not just a concept but a reality that many of us face daily, as we strive to excel academically while juggling various other responsibilities.

From the moment we step into the educational system, we’re bombarded with the notion that our worth is tied to our grades. The pressure to perform well in board examinations starts early, with each passing year adding to the weight of expectations. As a result, the pursuit of high scores becomes all-consuming, leaving little room for anything else.

Personally, I’ve felt the weight of this pressure bearing down on me as I navigate through the challenges of board examinations. The constant need to keep up with coursework, revise endlessly, and perform consistently well in mock tests can be overwhelming at times. It often feels like there’s no room for error, no margin for mistakes.

Moreover, the 90% rat race in board examinations fosters a competitive environment where students are pitted against each other in a race for the top spot. While healthy competition can be motivating, the intense pressure to outshine our peers can lead to stress, anxiety, and a fear of failure.

In the midst of this pressure cooker atmosphere, it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. The focus on securing high grades can overshadow the joy of learning, creativity, and personal growth. We may find ourselves sacrificing our passions, hobbies, and social lives in pursuit of academic success, only to realize later that true fulfillment lies beyond the confines of a report card.

Despite the challenges posed by the 90% rat race, I believe it’s possible to navigate through board examinations with resilience and perspective. By prioritizing self-care, maintaining a balanced approach to studying, and seeking support from teachers, peers, and family, we can overcome the pressure and emerge stronger from the experience.

Ultimately, board examinations are just one chapter in our academic journey, and while they hold significance, they do not define our worth or potential. As students, we must remember to celebrate our efforts, embrace our strengths, and strive for growth, both inside and outside the classroom.
