First of all, let me introduce my readers to this trending GenZ Generation.

The Collins Dictionary defines Generation Z as “members of the generation of people born between the mid-1990s and mid-2010s.

Let’s talk about the topic now. Being a writer, I feel I should write the truth even if it’s bitter or it’s about my generation. Though I am just one less than GenZ era but yes, I belong to the same.

Why this generation is so frustrated and impatient?

We have bearing about road rage cases, violence cases, robbery cases, murder cases, and rape cases; I don’t know about the exact statistics but if you do detailed research on these, I am sure that most of the culprits belong to this GenZ generation. Belonging to the same generation, I am surprised to know the mentality of people nowadays.

My husband has been telling me to practice driving on Delhi roads but every time I say a “No” just because I am scared of the behaviour of youth these days. I come across so many incidents while going to the office, just a scratch and they are ready to kill you. What attitude do these GenZ’s carry and for what reason; just because they are more educated or they are earning more? As far as I am aware one attains manners with education but in the case of GenZ it’s the opposite.

We talk about divorces today, parents getting separated and domestic violence, a lot of these things have to do with the impatience and irritation of the youth. I agree with the fact that everyone needs space, everyone has a different identity and behaviour but why hurt someone with that?

I always mention in my blogs that the era of our parents was much more sorted and serene.

Though I belong to today’s era but my values belong to my parents’ era. I really crave the love families had at that time, eating together, helping each other with household chores and simple living. The most important thing about that era is the respect amongst each other, children used to respect their parents and used to worship them but today they take them for granted.

There is a beautiful quote, “appreciate before it’s too late”. So GenZ your behaviour doesn’t look cool, in fact, it looks terrible.
