Chocolate (A poem by me)
On Decembers’ Fifth, a day so fine, We skipped our classes, the world was mine.
Sweets and chocolates, our secret delight, In the warmth of friendship, love took flight.
With joy and laughter, we whiled away, Creating memories, a sweet array.
Out of the blue, he handed me my favourite treat, An Oreo silk, in that moment my heart skipped a beat.
In that simple gesture, love took it’s chance, I felt wanted, in our sweet romance.
A melted chocolate, so did my heart, A love story blossomed right from the start.
That December day, so fondly recalled, In skipping classes, our love was installed.
A memory cherished, a crush that went askew, In the sweetness of chocolates, I fell in love with you.
