The Truth Behind MIM’s Roots And Razakar Atrocities

In every election, whenever there is a strong wave of political rallies taking place across the states, it becomes an essential duty of each responsible and educated voter to examine and observe closely the ground reality of political party’s agendas and their leader’s intentions. I have a strong political opinion about the most influential Muslim party in Hyderabad – MIM (Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen).

This party’s dominance in power could be traced back to the post-independence era when Hyderabad was merged into India by the then-Indian Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhai Patel. The Last Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan, was not consciously and deliberately agreeing to accept the merge of his princely state into Indian territories.

The Indian army swiftly tackled the rebellions and Razakars, effectively quelling them in just four days during Operation Polo from September 13 to 18, 1948, much like sweeping unnecessary items from a house. As a result of this battle, Nizam’s dictatorial rule was overthrown by the Indian Government, and the state was declared as part of India, becoming the central part of India.

Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s decision regarding the princely state’s integration into India was crucial. Allowing the Nizam to unite the state’s borders with Pakistan could have led to deadliest wars between the two nations. Given the strategic significance of this state as the heart of India, it would have been vulnerable to continuous attacks, potentially providing Pakistan with an opportunity to target it. This could have posed a serious threat to India’s security, especially considering the delicate geopolitical situation involving neighbouring countries like Pakistan and China.

Before India’s independence, there was a war in 1857 in which lakhs of Muslims and Hindus were killed and martyred. Have you known which state did not participate in that 1857 revolt movement? The Nizam had not allowed his state’s army and his people to participate from taking part in that war. In my eyes, Nizam was an opportunist man. Nizam remained a loyal friend of the Britishers.

When considering the significant sacrifices and contributions made during India’s freedom struggle, it becomes evident that Nizam was not actively involved in the efforts to unite India. Instead, his focus remained on preserving his kingdom and asserting his dominance within the state, rather than prioritizing the security of the country or the interests and choices of its people.

Now, we come to Nizam’s very shameful and painful genocide that his military Razakars carried out on rural villagers, many of whom were Hindus who were brutally killed. When India became independent, all the princely states in the northern regions were united, including Hyderabad. The ruling Congress Government asked the people of Hyderabad to decide whether they choose to stay in India or migrate to Pakistan. Despite Nizam’s desire for his state to join Pakistan, most locals have decided to live in India.

As I said earlier, Nizam never wanted his state to be a part of India and he decided, with the full consent of MIM party leaders, to unite his state’s borders with Pakistan. It is an undeniable fact that he was a puppet of the MIM party, following their orders and directives. He was the weakest, most unpatriotic, communist, and selfish King India had ever seen in the 19th century.

There is a very deep relationship between the MIM party and Nizam. Because all the leaders of MIM were the servants of Nizam and the foundation of this party was laid under his supervision. Who was Kasim Razvi? What was his position in the MIM party? You and us need to uncover the untold facts of the worst genocide that happened in Hyderabad.

If you ever read the chapters of post-independence conflicts and massacres, you will undoubtedly come across the butcher – Kasim Razvi. He was the founder of Razakars and served as the President of MIM from December 1946 till the formation of the state to India. When Arya Samaj, Hindu Mahasabha, and Hyderabad State Congress rebelled against Nizam’s decision to unite the state with Pakistan and his oppressive rule, they did so in response to his preferential treatment of Muslims.

Nizam consistently favored Muslims in government appointments, while relegating Hindus to lower-class status. After that, Razvi’s forces unleashed a wave of brutality across Telangana, resulting in widespread killings, looting, and atrocities against women. These barbaric acts were carried out under the direction and authority of the Nizam.

A film showing the atrocities committed by the Razakars is set to be released on March 1st, 2024. However, BRS (Bharath Rashthra Samithi) member K. Kavitha and MBT (Majlis Bachao Tehreek) Amjed Ullah Khan are vehemently opposing its release, claiming it is based on false incidents and reports. This spotlights the efforts of such political leaders to whitewash the truth and hide the Nizam’s atrocities against Hindus, as well as his unwillingness to integrate Hyderabad into India.

Following the successful Operation Polo, which saw the Indian government reclaim control of Hyderabad with the assistance of the Indian army and Marathas, Kasim Razvi was apprehended. He was placed under house arrest and charged under Indian laws for his seditious activities and role in communal violence. Razvi remained imprisoned for nearly a decade, from 1948 to 1957, after which he was deported to Pakistan with the condition that he never return to India. He passed away in Pakistan a few years later.

Whenever there is talk of unity of the country, it is a huge responsibility of all of us to unite. If Nizam, apart from his immense wealth, had contributed towards a peaceful settlement of his state’s borders, it would have been his right decision and he would have been among the truthful and loyal devotees of India. If this could have happened, perhaps our Mother India and all the countrymen would have never seen this genocide happening in the hands of the Razakars.

That’s why I’ve mentioned the roots of MIM can go back to the bloodiest era of post-Independence when all these atrocities occurred. Qasim Razvi was an influential leader of extreme radical Muslims at that time. Some might even say that Qasim Razvi’s party successors were the Owaisi family, who have run the MIM party to this date.

Some would even argue that his forefather was Qasim Razvi. However, according to the facts and history of MIM, this party was formed in Hyderabad to protect and fight for the rights of Muslims in India. The MIM party was founded by Nawab Mahmood Nawaz Khan Qiledar in 1927. In 1957, this party was relaunched by Owaisi’s grandfather Abdul Wahed Owaisi as the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen.

Yes, this political party was formed in Hyderabad under the governance of the then Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan. Likewise, as Hindus elected their Hindu leader, Muslims also chose their Muslim leader. We cannot deny this fact, but the motive behind not consolidating Hyderabad to India and agreeing to unite Hyderabad with Pakistan was what this Muslim welfare party did.

So, this is the bitter truth we cannot forget. Majority of radicalized Muslims have joined Nizam’s Razakar army to carry out extensive attacks on rural villagers of Telangana at that time. Razakars also included low-caste Hindus and Dalits. About 2 lakh Razakars were in the Nizam’s army and nearly 95% of Razakars were Muslims. Those radicalized Muslims in the Razakar army then forced the Hindus, Brahmins, and other Hindus to accept Islam and convert them into Muslims, and if they denied their orders they killed them.

Nizam has formed such radicalized and extreme group of army to strengthen his dictatorship rule over oppressed and marginalized people. His intention was clear to make Hyderabad as the independent Muslim state by uniting its borders to enemy country like Pakistan. When Ottomon Empire got collapsed in the 19th century he was heartbroken by the sudden loss of their 600 years of Khilafat ruling. He envisioned that with the support of Ottomom empire, he could have ruled over Hindus and emerged as the powerful Muslim Khalifa across the globe. That’s the reason why Nizam let his daughters to marry the Sultans of Ottomon Empire to strengthen the bond between their two great powerful kings of that time.

The condition of the MIM party is that the party’s supreme leader like Asaduddin Owaisi, is going beyond out of his constituency to politicize the votes in northern states such as Bihar, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh. MIM’s top leadership is all corrupted. They all are getting benefits from associating with the BJP party. MIM is surely a B-team of BJP. I will give you one example of how MIM is dividing voters on the grounds of religion, sentiments, and caste hierarchy disparity.

In the 23-24 election, the Goshamahal constituency was left uncontested by the MIM party despite being strong in the old city areas. This move helped local leader like Raja Singh, who gave provocative speeches against Islam, to not only contest an election but win it in majority. Owaisi strategically plays the politics of hate and division carefully. He knows exactly what to say in speeches to evoke the emotions of poor and uncivilized Muslims in old city during election times and particularly on national and religious matters.

MIM’ party agenda has always been to spread hatred among Hindus and Muslims, breaking the fabric of peace, and allowing the destruction of Mosques, and illegally occupying people’s land with all means of political power.

Moreover, it is clearly apparent how MIM’s presence in city is getting stronger and better on every election. MIM is getting a direct and indirect support from KCR’s party and now the Congress.

Owaisi is following the footsteps of Jinnah who played the politics of divide and rule among Hindus and Muslims. Owaisi is the Mohammed Ali Jinnah of today’s times who never wants peace to prevail in India and people to forgive their dark history of riots, massacre, and religious disharmony, and move forward for the betterment of the society and future.

Owaisi has given tickets to Goondey for his party. Every party does this for its benefit. But Owaisi is such a leader who does not give tickets on a merit basis but only on the basis of religion and self-benefits. There might be a few Hindus who have joined his party but the majority of the party’s politicians are Muslims. Many of them are unfit and incapable of working towards the well-being of society.

One more interesting part of the MIM party is that whoever raises their voice against the MIM party is killed by their goons. Those who speak out against them and bring the corruption of their party’s members into the media limelight are murdered. Many cases have occurred in the past, even before elections. One such case was of social worker Sheikh Saeed Bawazir, who was murdered late at night when he was returning home by the Chairman of Jalpally Municipality, AIMIM, Ahmed Saadi, and a few other aides.

The leaders of the MIM party will have to face a very shameful defeat one day. I pray to God to keep me alive to see the day when MIM will suffer the worst defeat on political grounds and will be wiped out from the upcoming elections of Hyderabad. That day, people like me who love justice, truth, tolerance and peace will be day of celebration and utmost happiness. That day will be memorable for someone who lost family members in the killings carried out by MIM leaders. A day is not much farer when BJP will establish itself in the southern states as well and will throw out the corrupted parties like MIM and BRS from their roots.

It is my responsibility to bring the historical roots of MIM and Nizam’s dirty karma and his dictatorial rulings in state in this article. When the BJP comes into power in Telangana, it will go against opposition parties and political leaders for their mis-governance and corruption. I hope this party will keep India’s sovereignty powers intact and place country’s faith above religion, morals, and ego just like the patriotic heroes have ever showcased their spirits to fight for their motherland.
