Congress is still to learn it’s lessons in the right spirit essential for reviving, resurrecting and reincarnating it for preserving the ethos and morality of an argumentative and deliberative democracy thriving on the continuous and healthy flow of exchanges between government and opposition its idea has gradually began to wane and fade from the scenes over the past few years with avenues and spaces for dissent and dialogue shrinking it’s the civil society which needs to take the leap in this regard with opposition especially Congress loosing the track of the plot by not overhauling itself and a conduct that isn’t very promising nothing seems to be paying off well with the party being relegated to the oblivion and regional political formations becoming dominant it’s the Congress that will have to priortize on its vision, mission and objectives for staging a comeback by any stretch of imagination at all
