The World To Witness The Majestic Rebirth Of Lord Ram In Ayodhya

The momentous day when the Supreme Court delivered its verdict in favor of the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya was a joyous occasion for many, including my family. Surprisingly, we found ourselves among the few Muslim families who celebrated the decision wholeheartedly. It was a testament to the triumph of justice for the devoted Bhakhts of Ram who had tirelessly sought recognition for the sacred land.

The smiles and happiness radiated not only within our hearts but echoed the sentiments of those who had longed for this verdict. The bench of judges, in their wisdom, also allotted a certain portion of land for the Muslim community to build their Mosque. However, my overwhelming happiness was for the majority of Hindus and the true followers of Lord Ram who had endured years of sacrifice and legal battles for the birthplace of their revered deity.

My stepfather, Papa, was a courageous man who faced verbal abuse during his participation in the Ram Temple donation campaign in Old City back in early 2021. I vividly recall my mother, alongside my half-brother, sisters, and a few staff members, rallying for financial support from the locals. Our family faced criticism and sarcasm from some Islamic extremists and narrow-minded individuals in society. Despite being encouraged to join in support of this charitable cause, I refrained, knowing the societal challenges that prevail in our less open-minded community.

My mother bore the brunt of her own family’s disapproval, being excluded from social and family gatherings. Yet, we cannot forget the undeniable fact that the disputed land holds immense significance as the birthplace of Lord Ram. The Babur-led invasion saw the construction of a Mosque over the temple, a historical reality supported by evidence. Indian archaeologist K.K. Mohammed, a Muslim himself, conducted a survey of the Babri Mosque, revealing strong evidence of temple remnants beneath its roof.

I share K.K. Mohammed’s belief that if Muslims had peacefully agreed to return the land to Hindus when concrete evidence surfaced, the tragic aftermath of the Babri Mosque demolition in 1992 might have been averted. A peaceful step from the responsible authorities in the Muslim community could have preserved the bond and brotherhood between Muslims and Hindus, preventing the rise of hate and religious indifference that fueled animosity and clashes.

Now, as justice has finally been served, we eagerly anticipate the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. It will be a momentous occasion where people from all walks of life will come together to express their gratitude and unwavering love for Lord Ram. The rebirth of Lord Ram as a symbol of unity and brotherhood is a beacon of hope for a future where diverse communities can coexist harmoniously.
