Opinion: “Congress Isn’t Pulling The Lever As Hard As It Should”

Congress is reluctant to wrest the fight from the BJP by being passive and not passionate enough to take the charge and control in its hands. For the grand old party, organisation has lost its prominence with investments being made on ideology which isn’t paying any dividends though Congress is honestly leading the cause from yatras to pad yatras but the electoral verdict is giving confusing signals for it to gain command of the plot.

Rather, than depending on the first family the rank and cadre is utilising it’s full calibre and potential to turn the tide in its favour reason for it can being its lack of enthusiasm and determination to go without a specific direction from the top brass for their shortcomings in experimentation.

BJP on the other hand has panna pramukh to panth pramukh who effectively knows how to carry the message and communication forward to the lieutenants I am least impressed with the Congress logic of not having enough in their arsenal with they lending a hand out to those cutting into their electoral base.

How can the Congress under invest in itself without training it’s guns on its gaps and loopholes a short term remedy isn’t going to make its case better as it will have to possibly hunt for more than actually it has got over the last few years. Here, everyone wants to bag something or the other but nobody wants to systematically engage and involve themselves in reconstructing and resurrecting the party from scratch until that happens I see a faint possibility of Congress bouncing back to power in New Delhi.

I am not at all cynical and critical of Congress except for the fact that it isn’t pressing and pulling the lever as hard it could changing goalposts frequently whether participating in the Ram Temple inaugration ritual in Ayodhya after allowing its cadre at their personal level this could definitely have given some kind of brownie to them against Narendra Modi or their stand on caste census which wasn’t appealing by any standard.

Neither Rahul Gandhi nor Priyanka Gandhi are very confident and sure of taking party to the next level with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge having its own set of limitations. Congress shouldn’t bank much on INDIA alliance but for an organisation which isn’t quite visible on the ground lacking an orientation, willingness and zeal to excel and succeed. That appetite has gone missing for now as i can sum up !
