How I Spent A Day In Calicut

Yesterday, me and Susan we went to Reliance prime mart, ofc her mom and dad were also there. Rish said, Sanju’s dad is so sweet, I really enjoyed Susan’s dad’s company. He is humble at heart, and he patiently always listened to everything I have got to say. Ofc back to Reliance prime mart again, I was contemplating how would I ever make inroads into the lives and times of the beloved Keralites-people who have amazingly free amount of time, and are hell bent on preserving their culture.

Then through the glass wall in front of me, I saw the picture of another outsider like me, Shah Rukh Khan, I was looking at the Jawaan poster. If Shah Rukh Khan who doesn’t know or understand or speak Malayalam, could create a space in time and geography in Kerala, Harshaman Daniel also could.

I was looking at Salaar posters throughout Kerala, a Telugu guy’s picture in whole of Kerala. Cultural icons can bypass even linguistic barriers and I believe am a cultural icon too. Well, then what do I represent? Abundant life or to put it even more simply “Rich life’

Susan and me we were having dinner, ofc Susan’s mom has overfed me. Susan was asking, what me and her dad spoke for an hour by talking a walk outside. And I was like, “Just two wise people talking about life, tum nahi samjhoge Susan, tum choti bachi hai na’.

Me and Susan’s dad spoke about Humility, I was telling him how blessed he was, to get a workplace that has a similar vibe like his college days. Lubna was telling that she is really loving her workplace, and had great fun celebrating secret santa at her workplace.
