ABOUT THE BOOK :
This book of poetry tells many untold words, each poem has its own feelings, I started writing all these poems when I was surrounded by the clouds of sorrow, when I lost my mother and didn’t knew how to express myself . As it is said pen is mighter then the sword. So I made my writing my weapon to touch people’s heart and to make them understand my sorrow my feelings which I’m going through. The book has poems which were written at the very moment with the feeling which was felt at that time. This book is actually a rollercoaster ride which the readers will go through , the readers will have multiple emotions at one time they will not understand which emotion will hit them hard and which poem will make them smile or cry. As while writing this book my emotions were in a turmoil as if it went from up to down. A book where all the category people be it youngsters, be it children be it adult or be it old people will connect to it and will understand the feelings as it is written in very simple language and in a decent way, it has emotions which all age group people can connect tootoo and can live my life even without meeting me because it is a book full of my life poems .
In this book of poems, there is love poem, sorrow poems, poems about relationships, about the importance of time about loved ones it is all in one book with all kind of emotions in it.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Astha khandelwal daughter of Ashok Kumar khandelwal and Gouri khandelwal has completed her schooling from Loreto day School Bowbazar Kolkata and has done B. A in English and Mass Communication, M. A in English Literature and is currently pursing Ph. D degree in English literature from Mats University Raipur.
Astha khandelwal wrote her first book Heart touching poetry which was published in the year 2016 under the occasion of National Conference held in Mats University Raipur. After which she wrote three articles for Chronicles Newspaper and 15 articles, 4 interviews and 5 poems for Hitvada Newspaper. She has also written articles for Raipur e magazine. After which she started published three short stories with vo author Jayesh bora and many poems in anthologies and many self published books on poems one of her best selling book was titled Jajbat . Not only this she has won Student of the Year trophy when she was pursuing her M. A in English literature. She has also worked for Career potli website and has also worked as a teacher in many tution centers like Neardy academy and has taken home Tutions. Her dream is to become a professor in college. Not only in writing and teaching she has also explored the cooking line also she has taken cooking classes. But her favorite hobby is to write poems and she has written 400 poems from 2015 to 2023 .
