Job Title: Sales Director / Sales Manager – Research & Insights Division

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Director/Manager to spearhead the monetization efforts of YKA’s Research & Insights Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling YKA’s unique value proposition of youth-centric data through surveys and research studies, to businesses, policymakers, and non-governmental organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
3. Partner with clients to understand their business needs and objectives, offering tailored survey packages and research studies that provide actionable insights.
4. Effectively communicate YKA’s value proposition through proposals and presentations.
5. Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence in the market.
6. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
7. Work closely with the data analysis team to ensure the research data is presented effectively to clients.
8. Manage the sales pipeline and lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
9. Develop pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high-profile customers and channel partners.
10. Provide feedback to the company leadership on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
2. Previous experience as a sales manager or sales and marketing director, ideally within the research, data, or policy advocacy sectors.
3. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
4. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
5. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
6. Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
7. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
1. Experience in selling research data and insights.
2. Familiarity with CRM software and tools.
3. A network of contacts in policy, business, and non-profit sectors.
4. Understanding of youth markets and youth-related policy issues.
