Our Successful School Trip

These past three days have been nothing short of remarkable in my school life. A group of 44 students from the small town of Nanakmatta embarked on a journey to the big city of Delhi, relying solely on public transport and minimum expenses. I owe a massive shoutout to my fellow mates and our mentor for making this extraordinary feat possible. But how did we do it? How were we able to accomplish such a challenging journey?

Taking 44 students to Delhi is no easy feat, it requires meticulous planning, quick decision-making, dedication, and a flexible mindset. However, the most crucial element we needed on this trip was teamwork and mutual support. If one person faced a problem or got injured, the rest of us rallied around them to provide aid and assistance. During our trip, everyone showed exemplary support to each other, readily offering help to our mates who had sustained injuries or had difficulty walking by carrying their backpacks or lending a shoulder to lean on. We all took ownership and responsibility for one another.

In Delhi, we explored many places such as the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the World Book Fair, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Palika Bazaar, and many more in a disciplined manner, thanks to our well-thought-out plans. To ensure that everything ran smoothly and systematically, we established different norms and rules. Our trip was well-organized, and we discussed with one another what we planned to do the next day according to our budget.

The last and most critical element that made our trip a success was the behavior and discipline of our students. With only two teachers supervising, we were able to manage and succeed in this trip because all of our students were well-behaved and exhibited good learning behavior. Our senior students played a critical role in guiding and managing their juniors, and their exemplary behavior served as a crucial factor in making our trip a success.
