“Congress Overhaul Looks On The Card”

Congress overhaul looks on the card with the grand old party suffering drubbing in the recently concluded assembly elections to Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh making a cut in Telangana. Leading a spirited campaign in all these states, party lacked last mile connect with the electorate especially in Hindi heartland states where announcing and guaranteeing schemes didn’t at all come to its rescue.

A lot needs to be attempted for the party to stay in the hunt of emerging as an viable alternative to Modi,s BJP merely discussing about organisational pluses and minuses isn’t going to offer it a boost it’s aiming for rather it needs to set it’s prioritise right from the high command to its activists and cadre at the grassroot a vital component for any political party to stay very much in the fray of getting near to the seat of power.

Though, over the past few months Gandhi,s have made an honest rethink at the prospects of rejigging and resurrecting the party but all their efforts seems to be not taking paying off well the way it should have been at the first instance. Feuds, frictions and fractions in the state units have become a common sight with a party grappling for its political survival and relevance from TS Singhdeo, Bhupesh Baghel, Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot, Kamalnath etc the list goes endless pointing towards a major crisis at hand which hasn’t been addressed and acknowledged thoroughly.

Demoralising the motivation of those who have given their everything for the party calls for a moment of reflection on what actually ails it as without it the going for grand old party is only going to become more turbulent, testing and challenging
