As soon as Pandora’s box of caste survey realised in bihar ,it gave birth to new debate of Hindu unity .In the matter of fact that BJP , RSS and it’s allies party came forward aggressively and claimed about how Nitish Kumar and it’s newly formed india allies trying to brake the Hindu unity through caste survey which kept coming since thousand of year.
But real question lies in the fact that the so called Hindu unity was the part of santan culture or not. As far as I know there is no such religion named ‘Hindu’ persisted in ancient India. Howerver if they are talking about a religion came to existence after Vedic culture started in india .
Then we must look after its base Verna system ,which do erect whole concept of santan or hindu religion .The first glimpse of Verna system introduced in the tenth chapter( dasam mandal ) of rig Veda where all four Verna Brahmin ,Chatriye, veshya ,and sudra came to existence by Brahma.it gave a preview about how handful Manuwadi cleverly became privileged class and most of the indigenous people ( mulniwasi ) fall dawn to sudra who have less civil and social right than animals.
They treated as a hell by upper Verna. ironically Sudra Verna consist of more than 80 percent of population. Later anulom and vilom marrages mothered the so called caste system or jati vyavastha. this happened almost four thousand year ago now it still goes on .So we literally finds out that there were no such unity in the so called Hindu religion.
Infact the buzz of caste survey lead to another thing which is Hindu equality or social justice .if Bjp and Rss like organisation taking about Hindu unity then why they are opposing hindu equality?.Caste survey come with social , educational and economical condition of every single caste that lead to the reality of which community (SC,ST ,OBC or Upper caste )possess most of the assets or vital post of india.
If the RSS thinks reservation should be stopped after 75 year of independent because it had bought so much equality in indian society then they have welcome this very survey .Since it can clear the scene kept coming after independence.
If caste is reality in India then how mere it’s counting can lead to disperse the Hindu unity.this argument is just out of context . Moreover caste survey of Bihar clear the picture of sc , st ,obc and upper caste community of Bihar .this scientific data can use to uplift the condition of backward community .
In the point fact , Bjp or Rss can ask a question themself about one thing that did Mandal commission brings some changes in Indian society or not ? .It itself answer the question of success of present caste survey or its implied actions taken after.
Literally as far as I think the caste survey has deep implication in itself.it means the proportional representation of socially or educationally backward class which consist of sc ,st and obc community .This representation will reflect in polity ,economy,media, judiciary and different kind of organisation in upcoming days .
Infact India is largest democracy in the world and caste survey is the need of the time .It may lead to society based on equality as Ram Manohar Lohia jee or Kanshiram saheb wanted. Undoubtedly it lead to a new era of social justice or equality in india.
the very caste survey of Bihar realised on 2nd of October (Gandhi jyanti). As we know that even Sarvoday samaj concept of mahatma lead to a society which gave the rights and representation to those who are last in row of development . Even baba saheb wanted that india witness a society which based on equal rights and social justice so he did many provisions in the constitution.
