Kamal Nath Mocks Shiv Raj Chauhan, Here’s Why

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress chief Kamal Nath is taking a leaf out of BJP campaign broadcasting his credentials as a devout Hindu visiting important religious sights and points in Madhya Pradesh. Attacking Shivraj Singh Chauhan over misgovernance and corruption by not personalizing it holding an edge still there is a lot more that he needs to attend and attempt for his parent party getting a full fledged majority unlike in 2018 when they got a whisker.

Remember, if the gap is wafer thin between BJP and Congress than the former will call the shorts from behind like in March 2020 with Jyotiraditya Rao Scindia bidding farewell to Congress tearing the party into two by taking a significant chunk of legislators joining the BJP bandwagon. Both, Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh does understand the significance of it and would no make mistake considering the ideological and organisational penetration of BJP in Madhya Pradesh where it has been in power for more than two decades.

Secondly, Shivraj Singh Chauhan remains immensely popular as a CM whose schemes has proved to be a gamechanger for woman in rural households with his hold intact on the ground. Though, Congress is not very far behind in terms of poll preparedness, campaign management and connect with the electorate lacking a charismatic face giving Shivraj a run for his money on his turf.

Apart from being an old hand and a Gandhi family loyalist Kamalnath does not enjoy the same highlight a key political strategist with a technical know how resonating less of a mass leader. Except for his bastion in Chindwara, Kamalnath needs to pick up on his plot for becoming a credible alternative to Mr Chauhan touring constituencies which in the end would matter most establishing a repo with ranks and cadres at the grassroots who in the end will have a crucial role to perform if for a close race.

In politics you never know who the dark horse actually is till the very last until and unless you don’t invest in making the right move. Politics always throws up interesting challenges materialising into opportunities for the the one who knows how to grab what comes their way.

There is no formula to it otherwise
