Youth Congress Gets A Boost With NSUI Win At PUSU Elections Recently

When a well-prepared strategy to strengthen the Youth Congress goes underway, the win at the students’ union at Panjab University remains intensely satisfying. So far the NSUI has dreamt of such a variety of success The news about the victory of the students’ union of Panjab University and Chandigarh Colleges after a considerable length of time exhibits a marked shift in the Congress party youth wing status.

However, the change is fully verified. Does it show the impact of Rahul Gandhi? His assertive politics have led the youths to bring a radical change in their outlook. Days before electioneering was to start, the Punjab government also sanctioned ₹50 crores for hostels and the student outfit went pressing about it all through their campaign.

Several news portals have reported that the Panjab University and Chandigarh Colleges in its Students’ Union elections results have changed trend. The NSUI candidates have won the polls this year leaving behind rival parties fairly at the second or third position. According to the news, the results claim the students have brought a change in their preferences.

As a result, the prior order with the parties stands to have been irretrievably shaken. Reportedly, just as students thought that was the only insight they could expect by swiftly changing their minds. The NSUI winner had quit Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and joined the Congress’s student wing merely eight days before the union elections. He defeated CYSS candidate Divyansh Thakur by a margin of 603 votes.
