“I’m A First Year College Student And The Hectic Schedule Has Drained Me”

In the light of the changes that are happening since years and especially in today’s times, one has to adjust themselves to fit the criteria. And there are a lot many factors which affect our behavior in such a scenario. They may predominantly be social, political, economic, and other such factors.

As a beginner year grad student, one is visionary with a lot of goals and hopes pertaining to the remaining three years of university. As time passes by, you fail to cope up with the pace as you become burdened with the task of performing too many things at one time.

You may have to work for others as well even when your own health is compromised. And by the time you reach your final year, all your ambitions are gone, and life seems difficult to continue with. Between these three, not too long years, the urge to learn new things develops, the dedication to fit and achieve something specific emerges.

And, when your hardworking nature bags what you wanted, you lose that excitement because your loneliness has started taking over your mind. The over-hectic schedule has snatched away all your mental peace and no more spirit is left to continue.

Motivational words just remain words and you perhaps become and behave like a hound who is looking for a quiet place to sustain the remaining time. In between this, nothing helps, and your relationship with even your close ones weakens. Every aspect of your environment starts disturbing you.

With too many problems and no clear solution to continue the path, life takes away everything that you previously possessed though not in a material form. No internet, no friends, no people, no liquid or solid would help you fight this phase. Because you are stuck in a hole, in a passage of time, which has become impossible to escape.

Running here and there to secure your future, to manage your “independence” takes away every bit you are left with. Time seems to be running so swiftly that you fail to keep your pace. In this rat race, you slowly start to trace the days that must have taken to bring you to this place.
