I.N.D.I.A Moves To Wrap Up Group Photo With Kapil Sibal In Mumbai Meet

Kapil Sibal left the Congress party last year. He was backed by the Samajwadi Party for securing a seat in the Rajya Sabha. Precisely not an official invitee to the I.N.D.I.A. During his walk towards the meeting hall, as has been heard in visuals, he was asked to clarify his physical presence in the meeting. His swift answer hung around, ask them. Short but solid reply. Was not it amply deserved to be commended or applauded?

When it came to frowning at his presence on the concluding day of the INDIA alliance meeting in Mumbai, the Rajya Sabha member and lawyer appeared to have maintained his impressive access quite simply. Although the Congress leaders did show their respective annoyance at his very presence, the matter was pacified by the very intervention of Farooq Abdullah and others. When he was asked why has he joined the meeting? He replied, “Ask them.”.

Senior Congress leader KC Venugopal reportedly complained about Sibal’s sudden visit to Maharashtra’s ex-Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

What was additionally stressed at the critical time was that  Rahul Gandhi’s reportedly no-problem hint was enough for anyone attending the vital meeting. It was reportedly pointed out that other leaders were also found to be uncomfortable with Sibal being part of a photo session of leaders of the Opposition bloc. However, what ends well goes well.

Reportedly National Conference’s Farooq Abdullah and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav approached KC Venugopal who appeared to have conceded after Rahul Gandhi’s clear posture on the matter.

In keeping with the woven refrain, Sibal carried out his participation in the photo session. For his part, he stayed on his low-key side, wearing a white Kurta, white pyjamas, and probably shoes. Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal’s presence at Opposition bloc INDIA’s meeting in Mumbai reportedly did not go down well with some Congress leaders.
