Is the BJP afraid of the ‘INDIA’ alliance?

The ‘India’ alliance of the opposition is becoming a headache for the BJP. As the Lok Sabha polls approach, the political equation is changing. As time goes on, the BJP is also losing strength. Still, the strength of the India alliance is unbroken. Although sometimes spreading fake news that India is breaking the alliance, In fact, they are being done to weaken the alliance’s enthusiasm.

Even the news is spreading that Nitish Kumar is going to go with the BJP again. However, soon after, Nitish Kumar himself held a press conference and told ‘these false news’. He never thought of joining the BJP. And these are being done to weaken the alliance. The whole country knows the contribution of Nitish Kumar to the formation of the India Alliance. First, he had to work hard to bring 18 opposition parties under one umbrella.

Nitish Kumar was not made the spokesperson of the India Alliance. So the news spread that Nitish Kumar might sit down this time. It was said that he might not go to the next meeting. But it turned out to be the opposite. Not only that, Nitish Kumar was in a good mood with his partner, Lalu Prasad. Again, Sharad Pawar was also misrepresented. Ajit Pawar has left the party and joined the BJP alliance. It was being publicized. Sharad Pawar may be quiet this time. There were even rumors that he might surrender to the BJP. And the opposite picture was seen. Sharad Pawar held a meeting of the India Alliance at his residence in Delhi.

Is the India alliance really a cause for fear for the BJP? According to the statistics so far, if one candidate is chosen against the BJP, then it will be difficult for the BJP to come back to power in the Lok Sabha.

The BJP got 36 votes in the last Lok Sabha polls as a percentage. If the NDA alliance is taken into account, the percentage of votes they got was close to 50 percent. Then half of the country’s voters are against the BJP. At that time, there was not one candidate against one. The vote-sharing of the opposition camp made the BJP’s number of seats absolute. Not only that, the craze or popularity of Narendra Modi or the BJP in 2014 has reduced a lot. Unemployment, price rises, inflation, and de-industrialization have dashed the hopes of the country’s youth. In such a situation, the BJP could not fulfill all the promises it had made before the polls. As a result, depression has increased among youth. Its reflection has been seen in several assembly elections.

On the other hand, Congress has started seeing success in some assembly elections. This ancient group is trying to turn around again. Five state assembly polls are ahead. Rahul Gandhi has already predicted that the Congress will return to power in at least four states. The BJP is worried about the ‘India’ alliance in the 24th Lok Sabha elections.
