What Do You Think Is More Important: Education Or Knowledge?

What do you think is more important – Education or Knowledge? You’re probably wondering what kind of question this is and thinking that obviously both are equally important. Well, I totally agree with you, but I have a different opinion in mind. I will share it with you after one more question.

What education is worth investing our time and money in – Expensive or Cheap, Indian or Abroad, Online or Offline? Do you want to know my answer? My answer is “Right Education!” And to answer the first question, I believe that with the right education comes the right knowledge. In the end, we build our foundation with the right knowledge.

You have to have an eye to find the right education for yourself. Each one of us is built uniquely and requires a unique approach in almost everything. And I take a step to persuade everyone and myself as well by telling them that this is not something to be embarrassed about. When you are old enough to realize what education suits you better, the “where” and “how” obstacles become easier to overcome, and at that time you just know that you are starting to understand yourself better.

I wish I could make every parent realize that they just have to support their child mentally, emotionally, and intellectually with whatever they want to pursue in their life, so long as it makes a positive and nurturing impact on their lives or anyone else’s. The child’s progress in almost every aspect of their life is going to soar high above and beyond, and I am absolutely sure that one day they will fill your chest with pride. If only they could look at the larger picture, I am sure they would understand how every step, big or small, defines their child’s future and, hence, theirs too.

The path ahead is yours and yours only to tread upon, so you do what works best for you to reach the destination. Someone taught me that it is okay if you don’t know what you want to do yet, but you should know what you don’t want to do, so you can eliminate your options, making the process easier. You are encouraged to pick a subject/course that will be in high demand in over 10 years or so. You are advised to research every option you want to keep for yourself and then pick the one that interests you. Make sure the subject/course you have chosen has a promising career in the future and helps you earn tons of money, because, Buddy! The World Is Going On An Expensive Road!!!

So, when you know what is the right education for you, you research it extensively and find the right mentor, resources, mode, and institution for you. And, the knowledge that comes with it will just flow into you, filling you with wisdom. You actually enjoy the whole process when everything is organized and structured according to the way you feel is right, believe you me.

And when you pick the right education, you acquire the right knowledge, ergo, you acquire the right skills. If you apply them in the right place, there are higher chances that you can actually experience significant monetary gain that will take you centuries to spend. When you apply them in the real world, contributing to solving the problems faced by you, your family, society, or maybe humanity, you will just feel right and satisfied.

So, don’t let Sharma Ji Ka Beta influence you, and just be on your way to be your true self who stands on your feet leading a real, happy life. Here, I would like to take a chance to remind myself and everyone that “Never let anyone define you. You are the only person who defines you”.

Jo Kaam Mein Maza Aaye, Us Kaam Mein Apna Profession Banao, Fir Kaam Kaam Nahi Khel Lagega” – Farhan Qureshi, who was taught by Rancho in 3 Idiots. I personally love this quote. And, when you have found your Profession, it would feel like you have found your baby which you will love, nurture, and give the best of yourself to. It all starts with finding the Right Education and the Right Mentor. Then, the addition of hard work plus discipline plus consistency plus practice helps you build passion, that helps you develop knowledge and skills. The application of skills to solve real-world problems helps you gain wisdom and experience. All in all, you have the potential to become the master of your Profession.

P.S. – This thought has been on my mind for a while, and I wanted to share it with everyone. Maybe you have noticed that I have used ‘right’ too many times; it only means ‘Right By You’ and ‘Right For You’.
