Why Does Owaisi Ask Rahul Gandhi To Face LS Elections From Hyderabad?

Leave Wayanad and arrive at Hyderabad to fight elections, asks Owaisi vociferously. It appears that Rahul Gandhi’s political test lies in Telangana if he accepts Owaisi’s brazen challenge. It will also be a fresh riff on a classical political opponent, with a slightly more puffy effort to deliver it some shape.

The AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has challenged Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to face off parliamentary elections from Hyderabad. Why has Owaisi thrown such a challenge to Rahul Gandhi?

The Congress and AIMIM are openly at loggerheads in Telangana as both parties are swatting it out to accomplish the helm in the upcoming state’s Assembly elections.

Owaisi’s salvo against Rahul Gandhi comes days after the Congress leader launched a blistering attack on the four-time MP from Hyderabad, flaying him of being in the BJP’s pocket by pointing up the fact that central probe agencies are not asking him.

“There is no case against AIMIM. Only the opposition is attacked. In Telangana, the Congress party is not fighting against BRS but with BRS, BJP and AIMIM combined. They call themselves different parties but they are working together unitedly, Rahul Gandhi had said.

Rahul Gandhi had also said that the BJP, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and the AIMIM are working in unison in Telangana and that his party is fighting against this troika. He had also claimed that there are no CBI-ED cases against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao or AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi since Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers them his “own people”.

All political parties in the electoral battle are leaving no stone unturned to come out victorious in the Telangana Assembly polls. The ruling BRS has already disclosed its list of candidates, while the Congress has frankly promised to fulfil its six pledges if they are voted to political power.
