Trigonometry that figures out ‘triangle’, and ‘measure’ is a branch of mathematics related to relationships between angles and ratios of lengths. The field appeared in the Hellenistic world during the 3rd century BC from very applications of geometry to astronomical studies.
In a routine school curriculum, the students are told to study trigonometry from class 10 students. They learn relationships between angles, lengths, and heights of triangles by studying them. It also comprises ratios, functions, identities, and formulas to solve problems based on it, especially for right-angled triangles.
The students more often find the subject too tough to prepare with. Despite taking tuition, they do not fathom the intricacies of solving the hard questions of this branch of maths. They begin to think as to how should they embark upon solving the tougher questions.
By including this particular subject in the CBSE for the general students who do not go to the science or biology stream, an extra burden seems to have been imposed upon the general student. The students think it is time for a change as the subject had no value for non-science stream students, though they are told to opt for basic maths.
The students will be grateful if they are duly exempted from learning this part of maths. It will help them reach the height of mastery in the general arithmetic. Every student would be involved in changing positions with a distinct tendency. If all goes well, the vexed students could do well with fresh initiative though they may not be as optimistic as it looks to be.
