Poetry: “The Lost Childhood”

The little flower of nine years ,

Left with her husband in tears.

She is the most precious thing her parents has received, the hidden gem,

But she is only a burden for them.

Her aged husband is dragging her towards the household, into the adulthood,

The poor child, she lost her childhood.

The money the parents has got will make their entire lives,

The child will see her lost life in the dried leaves.

The teenage boy has only a backbone ,

His mother, otherwise he is alone.

He has lovely siblings, to support through a long way,

As the man of the family had fled away .

The woman has tied up for her children only,

The bomb shell has landed on her and made them lonely.

The small guy has lost his dreams over the tears,

He has to live like an orphan for years.

He lost his childhood in the responsibilities,

He has to play the role of a parent and his duties.

The lost childhood will haunt for the rest of their lives,

They will remember how their wings were cut off when a child flies.

They are not the reason of the disasters,

Though they lost the childhood for the clusters.
