What would you call something which is not visible to eyes but its there, which is hungry for your blood, you don’t want to switch off the lights of your house because you fear it might grab you by your head, bite your neck with scary looking fange and will suck all your blood in the darkness of your own house.
Its scary to even think about it, let alone having a desire to meet something like that. We all fear such creatures, such things, such devils. Some people call it a spirit, some call it a.Jinn, and for some it is The Ghost.
I recently encountered such a ghost. I came to know about it first a few months ago when it killed few innocents in broad daylight in my neighborhood. After killing or rather say burning its victims, it vanished in thin air. All police of the state started looking for it but there was trace of it to be found. Like a spirit, it just disappeared.
But a few days ago, there was a rumour that the Ghost is back. Some people saw the shadow of the ghost, some claimed to have seen it. Some even claimed to have talked to it. I was scared. The mention of it was a bad omen, and here everyone was talking about it.
My fear was not unfounded. It appeared again, this time with more trickery, more evil tactics. It hypnotized the people. People of one house started burnings houses of its neighbours, they started poisoning their food, water, they started running amuck on the roads with closed eyes, and whoever came in their contact, they stung them with their fangs. The city was under the spell of The Ghost.
While all the burning, killing, suffering continued, The Ghost again vanished in the air, the air full of foul smell.
I fear more now. I have seen the power of The Ghost, I have seen how people dance to its tunes, I have seen the blue eyes of the normal people turning red and sometimes black. I fear more. The Ghost is not dead, neither it has disappeared, it is here, it must be here, in our neighborhood somewhere, learning new tricks, planning its next evil dance.
