One Earth, One Family, One Future Remain Theme Of G20 Summit In India

International leaders are going to attend the 18th Heads of State and Government Summit of the Group of 20 (G20)  from September 8 to 10 in New Delhi. The G20 Summit will certainly be focussing upon the theme, ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’ affirming the value of micro-organisms and humans, animals, and plants, and of their interconnectedness on the living planet and in the wider universe.

The Indian Presidency will also spotlight Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE), with an emphasis on environmentally sustainable and responsible choices at both the individual lifestyle and the national development level, to achieve a cleaner, greener, and bluer future. 

The Working Groups will focus on the following tracks: agriculture, anti-corruption, culture, digital economy, disaster risk reduction, development, education, employment, environment and climate sustainability, energy transitions, health, trade and investment, and tourism. 

President Biden and his entourage will be housed within the 400 rooms of ITC Maurya, as reported. This was unexpected as the confirmation was nonetheless quite known to everyone. The hotel premises are reportedly being inspected by the US Secret Service ahead of the POTUS’ arrival.
