Onset of monsoon should make us more aware and watchful of the diet we generally consume and intake. From liquids, fruits to salads it’s advisable to take more nutritious food than consuming a one with high content and calorie of proteins and carbohydrate which may not be conducive except for those in there growing age they need it in abundance as excessive intake of carbohydrates and protein may lead to health conditions like uric acid and all.

Dietary preferences and practices largely varies across different corners of the country depending on various factors like crop cultivation, weather pattern etc.

Nowadays organic vegetables have been popularized and commercialized with many amongst us rushing to have it our baskets without distinguishing it’s actual benefits going by hearsay typical of our mindset and mentality.

Being cautious with what we have on our plates and going for brisk walking and workouts can certainly keep us a bay from lifestyle aliments like blood pressure,  cholesterol, diabetes and uric acid a product of an over stressed and over hyped urban life. Well, we do need to take out time for our own recreation sitting over long on screen fiddling and browsing our laptop and tablet can have serious repercussions on our physical and mental well being.

Thus, I personally believe it’s totally rational and logical in invest in ourselves as a healthy mind dwells in a healthy body keeping us fit and in shape will only benefit us in scripting and etching new heights in our professional and personal lives
