Indelible Journey: Real life in the contemporary world is a fiction work inspired by real events of life. It is reflection of real life at present context. It is really inspiring and thought provoking read.
The Reality of life is depicted in such a way that it will surely give courage to youth to sail their voyage of life whatever come across.
Here is my takeaway and also summery from the novel.
The novel contents ten chapters and three forwards from prominent personalities, it has 200 pages including cover page.
Summery of the book.
Chapter One:
The chapter start with a honk sound on the busy Delhi/NCR road which very well connects with read like me who stays in metro city. Nitish, and Aditya was on phone and they were simply talking as they regularly do, and meanwhile Aditya dropped the phone as he heard his son speaking to him.
Aditya reached office and shared to his colleague as to what he heard (It’s emergency with my wife and an ambulance siren in the next call)
Chapter Two
The chapter starts with showcasing a normal office day, while everyone was working Nitish, get lost in the memory of the past about Aditya, Prisha (Aditya’s wife), and their kids (Aarav).
Shortly Nitish’s another colleague joined him, and she tried to motivate Nitish by telling example of how his own brother (Pushp) battled the cancer and survived.
This chapter end with a confidence in Nitin instilling that there could be either network issue, and the Ambulance sound would be coming from the background of another vehicle.
Chapter Three
The day progressed and while Nitish was trying to reach Aditya, and he was not able to connect with him over the phone. Nitish’s friend Ankit joined him, and shared with Nitin a wonderful love story of his friend Sushant and Sophia. It made the tense situation little light, but as the day progressed Nitish decided to go to Aditya’s home.
This chapter is ended with Nitin driving a car, and hearing FM radio.
Chapter Four
The start of chapter is wonderful with a description of a night of year Dec 2-3, 1984 and make you think like you have reached in a different genre.
Next moment I get to know that an office college (kush) was telling about the situation at the time of his birth, when they were in the office cafeteria. Kush’s parents were stuck in Bhopal in the most fateful night in the city of Bhopal, and managed to leave the city amid chaos.
Their later discussion brought on table the later incident in Kush’s life when he was diagnosed with cancer at a very age of life, and how he survived. He also reveled a very horrific truth of society that if one is stuck in the challenges of life, generally, people come for advise but they do not support with the required resources and turn away.
The chapter ends at the time of Nitish reaching near the home of Aditya.
Chapter Five
Nitish reached at Aditya’s home, but he was not there. In fact, no one was there. It created a panic scene. Next moment was the climax of the book. When it was reveled that the Prisha had passed away leaving behind a small family.
The emotion was perfectly displayed as the story unfolded how the life around the protagonist and other characters tried to managed the tragedy. The smallest one to take care from shock was handled well during the tragedy, but the tragedy gave the suspense as how the life around the family will manage themselves.
The chapter ends on road as they travelled to the other city for last rites.
Chapter Six
The chapter starts with a dialogue of Prisha in a dream.
Next moment brought the chaotic scene around the death of Prisha, and a lots of emotional scene which seems once a real scene.
The chapter ends with the last rites.
Chapter Seven
This chapter brought to us the real-life struggle of a father to settle the life. The youngest sufferer from the tragedy was well safeguarded by the protagonist and they were back in the town. This chapter was also give the courage and inspire people to understand their prime responsibilities. It is well written chapter and again felt like everything was happening in front of me.
Chapter Eight
The plot was this time around the one and half year ahead of the chapter six. The chapter started with the morning scene in the office. The happiness of Kush kept the reader engaged for next chapter, while Aditya and Naina reveled their happiness and the life was passed for one and half year of the tragedy scene. Also, the planning of marriage of a Polish Girl and Indian boy made the content a joyful read. There planning of marriage was uniquely done and well descripted by author.
Chapter ends with the invitation to see in the evening for a party thrown by Kush.
Chapter Nine
It is a well written scene of a fantastic evening of a pub. The colleagues of company joined and enjoyed the drinks together, while the host revealed about his love story. It was a most joyful chapter and this end with the friends seeing each other off after the drink.
Chapter Ten
The scene was set for a Ceremonial Pared Ground of Police Academy. The scene was well scripted. It is so vividly written that I felt myself present at the scene.
The old man and the young officer’s meeting brought tears as later I learnt that it was a dream of the protagonist. It is really deeply written book. Seems the author has put out the soul.
