Joy Of Reading

A person reading a book. The book is on their lap with their finger tracing a particular line.

Reading still stands out as the most adored and revered in a digital age where everything has been significant reduced to a tabloid. To me a tablet or a kindle doesn’t spark or generate much of craze than for a physical read of content both self assuring and promising.

Over last few years there has been a loud and sound mandate in favour of e books which makes reading less adventurous, engaging and involving and more clientelistic and transactional.

I am not against any form of technological advancement and empowerment but at the same time we should be dictated and slaved by technology making us feel annoyed and agitated with so much of discontent and disgruntlement that we find hard coming to terms with a method that is uniquely disciplinarian handicapping us of our identity, individuality and orginiality.

Down the line our own biases reigns supreme narrowing all outlets to vent our ire a farce of our times with modernity putting salt on our wounds. Actual healing may take lot more to progress honestly speaking will have to devise an alternate asap.
