Cooking Has Been Therapeutic For Me, Here’s Why

Representational image,

Cooking is an act of glory of your true behavior

Cooking is an excellent way to heal your mental capacities. It not only gives you a mole of space to breathe but makes you self-reliant and independent. It is also a beautiful form of art in which you know about the limitations of your taste. It provides you ample reasons to become a talented person. It can give relaxation to your brain nerves and body muscles. Ithas the power to change your bad mood.

A freshly cooked vegan meal for lunch makes you a creator and a trustworthy and credible source to claim your right as an independent human. Not just that, during camping in a forest area, you don’t see any facilities of hotels or restaurants but you are carrying a  boiler or a packet of yippee noodles or rajma dal and a moving stove, you can feel as if you’ve accomplished something in your life. It teaches a very good lesson about self-sufficiency.

Memory

I felt the importance of cooking when my mother fell sick in 10th standard and I got the responsibility to take care of the kitchen. Initially, I was unsure about handling cooking dishes, but gradually, I became confident and smoothly finished my task. In the end, I felt good because I felt self-motivated. Plus, the kind of preparation I used to do before mealtime helped me learn organization and planning.

And trust me, when I continued the activity of cooking, all these margins helped me during my business studies exams in 11th standard. It’s the best activity to beat a bad mood to get into the power of goodness for others. A kind of selfless activity reignited a feeling of generosity for family. Then it helped me to know the importance of donating cooked food.

In the end, I would like to say do not feel shy if you are just a cook. It’s a good activity for your self-esteem.
