Aussies On Top: A Thumping Victory In The WTC Final

It’s not about clinching World Test Championship but Aussies have won hearts by admitting to play for success of team than for any ranking or distinction. From Smith to Starc it’s the national team that eventually matters than for a franchise cricket like IPL or Big Bash that can be a road to quick glory bounding many of these players by contract. Still, Australians prefer playing with full spirit reserving their precision, swiftness and accuraracy by being competitive all rounders in a team game as they leave nothing to luck or chance pushing and patting themselves till the very end. Personal records, hits and century is more relatable for our boys unable to go past the imagery and visually of cult making them rare and unique on and off the fold. Brand value gets more pronounced than for a team building relegated to the oblivion. A reason for our team choking on the foreign soil refusing to come off their sombre with our winning track record which has more or less been average and not that great with important tournaments sliding from our hands. Though John Wright and Gary Kirsten did attempt to amend this trait but all their efforts proved to be futile for our unit stuck with the same old traditional approach and mindset which isn’t taking us any where. We can continue with some more seasons of IPL rejoicing, delighting and lavishing praise on it for poverty that has totally crept the Indian cricket like anything. Those with the mandate and task to improvise are bluntly refusing to other way round the Dravids, Shastri and Ganguly. Don’t know if at all our cricket will be sail pass this phase
