Quick Bytes: ‘The Man Called Otto’ Review

Tom Hanks has done it again! The new Netflix movie that has come ‘The man called Otto’ is doing wonders on the platform and is being given a lot of love.

The world’s best-seller novel “The Man Called Ove” served as the inspiration for the film. Tom Hanks plays an elderly guy who is lonely and depressed till he meets a new family who moves into the area and transforms his life.

He discovers that he can still live a happy life even if he had to live alone without his wife after several unsuccessful suicide attempts. The joy of living together, love, and happiness are the main themes of the film. An unhappy man’s current existence is contrasted with recollections from his happy married life in this moving film.

Other roles in the movie are played by Truman Hanks ( Tom Hank’s son), Rachel Keller and Mariana Treviño.

The movie has excited me to read the book soon and I would recommend everyone to watch this heart-touching movie.
